Words,that talked…

You might say that words don’t speak,

But I’ll say that they do!

They talked with me often enough

Reciting anecdotes countless, of you

I could hear you speak, your distinct voice

Through the words that you wrote

I was the captured, bewitched by your charm
Whom you held on for so long

Your laughter still reververates through my soul

The curve of your lips, I have memorized

Your tender voice, while you took my name

And say that you love me, it haunts me

Your soft scream, when angry

the smoldering look is still embedded in my heart

Through words I read you everyday, try to relive what’s past and gone

But, your words,

they don’t speak to me anymore

They are long dead and cold

I read them everyday, but in vain

They are void, just like my heart

An unfeeling mess!

Hey,
This is another random scribble.

In today’s era, we talk more in text than in person or even calls, which personally I don’t like. I prefer long deep conversations in person (obviously with someone close) but anyway, when I look at the texts now,I feel the hollow words, I don’t feel the same emotion that I used to feel so this is just my emotions pouring out, never mind😂😂

Thanks for reading🤗

  1. I too prefer real conversations with people even though it is nice to connect in ways like this. But it is getting increasingly difficult to do that in our world, people prefer texts to talking which is sad. Have a great day!😃

  2. I can relate and nothing can replace the real
conversations and connections! Nowadays we send the birthday wishes, the holidays wishes, the love and friendship words through texting …I don’t mind it as a supplement but not the essential for sure!
Even condolences 😕 how you send someone condolences through Facebook 😕😕 this is silly!
You wrote it so beautifully as always, the words flow perfectly and the message is great 😊👍
    Thank you for sharing ♥️

    1. Yes, it is silly. Texts have hidden emotions, while it is great to connect with a lot of people for the first time, it is not so great to offer our good wishes or condolences to people who are close.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting me☺️❤️

  3. I seldom text, and when I do it’s because I’ve been unable to get through to the person concerned.
Same as I often write the words *like* rather than to click the like button, and write *smiles* rather than use the smiley emoji. Because you know that word has come from me, not a machine. See … Big Smiles

      1. Particularly with WP, it’s so easy to just click like (and I’ve just done it again) Yet it takes time and thought to write the words. It shows the reader has actually read (or at least scanned) the post, and not just gone through the Reader clicking at random

      2. Well personally, I don’t like to click likes at random and I also think that if you can click a like, you can atleast scan the post as you said. Commenting something needs actual thinking and someone maynot have time or maynot want to. Here, it’s really easy..

      3. Indeed. And you’ve just caught me out in a quick click. But I had read it (regards reward) but called away, I hadn’t commented, and now I’ve moved on
So, to return. Congrats. Big smiles all round

  4. That’s true enjoyment of having a face to face conversation is much better than looking for a text😂😂 and sometimes I understand it in a very different way.
Hope you have a great day😀😀.

  5. This post oozes with truth! Very true! We live in shallow times! Emotions have been forced to surrender to emojis. Laughter, smile, crying, all of those precious gestures, all long gone and dead! Love doesn’t feel like love anymore!
I agree with you! Texting will never be able to replace actual conversations, but still, that’s what We are trying to do as a generation!😔

      1. Exactly! Love is just an accessory now. You show it off to people and then keep it away as soon as they go away! As a generation, we have definitely crumbled the real emotions. Some of us aren’t even mindful of this fact, our phones are killing humanity!😟😞
        The pleasure is all mine!❤️
        Have a great day!😊

      2. Absolutely! Social media is so fake these days! People just make things up to increase engagement on their blogs and pages! *huh*
*I am so sorry for this terribly late response! Past few days have been a little rough for me* *so sorry* *no emojis! They don’t work on my laptop!* *sad face*

But I still want to be a little more consistent… I don’t know, I am trying my best!😅😅
        How are you?😊

      4. Even I am trying to be consistent and I am in class 12 and you can understand the pressure now😂
I think that blogging is a passion and you can keep a stock of some write-ups for some cases when you don’t feel like it. It happens all the time with me😃
I am doing fine. How are you?❤️

  6. This is so true!
The problem we face in text messages is that you cannot judge whether the other person is actually interested in talking to you, sometimes the humour and sarcasm is also not decode able. Real conversations offer valuable interactions. Its true we’ve all lost this sort of connection.

  7. Your Random Scribbles are absolutely Fantastic! Actually fantastic is not the word to describe it! I don’t have any such words to describe it! Loved it absolutely ❤️❤️ as always!

Now voids huh! Let me again show you a natural example! Being Writers we draw things from nature! So when sun becomes too scorching the water of the river get vaporised, the water beneath the soil gets depleted. These are their voids! And do these voids stay permanently?? No, as the fresh rains pours down from the heavy clouds and kisses the soil, the water gets replenished! Their voids are filled! Same happens above also! As the cloud releases the rains, they have a void which is replenished by the vapourised water which goes up! So see both of them get happiness in the end! That’s the thing! No voids remain voids forever! A fresh start fills it always!💞💞💞💞

And from this poem, my mind got struck by a song I heard in my childhood! It’s a film song but it describes our situation now perfectly!

    ||As you go through life you’ll see
There is so much that we
    Don’t understand
And the only thing we know
    Is things don’t always go
    The way we planned

But you see everyday that we’ll never turn away
When it seems all your dreams come undone
We will stand by your side
Filled with hope and filled with pride
We are more than we are
    We are one||

    We are one❤️

    1. Thank you so much Preetam. Perhaps no one can soothe my heart and calm me down better than you. The example you gave is true. Nature is our teacher and no void remains forever. It will get filled up eventually.
Some voids can never be filled but that voids are not created by other people, they are created by their ownselves. We are talking about the former one, so it will get filled for sure..
Change is constant. I believe in this. The song you mentioned us great. I don’t know why I am not able to recognize it.. I will have to think a little more.. but the words fit perfectly. Amazing 🙂❤️

  8. Hey Ramayani,
How you have been?I know it has been so long since I am here, but a little busy these days. But wherever I am,your words never collapse in its elusive way of demonstrating the simple and genuine emotions that we go through in our life and the blight of modern era, where our syallbles are limited to emojis. In this regard,I am similar to you,I cogitate that the magic or say the beauty of profound conversations and the charm of letter was something pure and unfiltered, but in our age,we are too damned to give it a damn,a reply after 2 seconds is deemed as rude, technology has snatched away our right to longing, every thing is created and shattered in the tiny WhatsApp box,and our emotions are reflected in blue colour blind walls.
It isn’t that we abhor technology, but in some days hearing someone’s voice or touching the words they wrote make us feel much connected than those blue ticks.
Hope you are doing well sweetheart.
